Road Trip to Tortilla Flats

We had a fun Saturday.  We could have stayed home and cleaned house and taken down Christmas decorations but instead we opted for a road trip to Tortilla Flats.  So yes, the Christmas decorations are still up and the house did not get cleaned.  But we had a fun day.  I so look forward to the little day trips that David and I take.  I love spending time with him.  It so happened that there was a Volkswagon Rally going on at Tortilla flats  That was fun to see all the different cars.  We ate at the little restaurant there.  The best onion rings I have ever had.  Then on the way back we stopped at the Goldfield Mining Town.  Rocky Point this weekend.  Not sure when these decorations will get down.  Oh well.  Life is too short, we need to take time to enjoy it.
