Baptism and Blessing!

Thanksgiving weekend was a busy weekend.  On Friday we had a Baptism at our house.  Very unusual, yes.  But things were not working out for the baptism in St. Johns so Shauna and Brad got permission from their bishop to have Chase baptized here at our house in our pool.  Papa had the privilege of baptizing Chase. I am not sure what David thought of it because the pool was really cold.  Chase didn't seem to mind too much.  The whole day was really nice.  Shauna and Brad also had their baby Shad blessed that day.

ORNAMENT EXCHANGE

It started a few years ago as a family tradition.  I wanted to start something with the girls that we do together at the holidays.  So now we do an annual ornament exchange.  It is a lot of fun.  This year Kelli and Ashley even participated which makes it even more fun.  We all went to Paradise Bakery and ate and exchanged our ornaments then came over to the house to play games for a while.

It is so much fun to be together.  Kristen's daughter Kylee said that her mom is never this funny at home.  That is one reason she likes to come is to see her mom be so funny.  We need to get together more often.  It is so wonderful to have a big family.

Thanksgiving!

Well, I should catch up a little bit.  Not even sure why I have a blog if I can't seem to update it.  Thanksgiving was good.  It is probably my favorite family gathering.  Shauna, Brad and kids were here. Steven and Tiffany, Crystal and Peter, Brian and Jen and kids.  We missed all of those that couldn't be here.  Heather and Dustin went to Eager.  Brooke and Kirk went to her family's and Jimmy and Kacey couldn't make it.  David was in Sacaton. It was a fun day.  The kids stayed up late playing games.  Kelli and Ashley said it was one of the best Thanksgivings they had had. 

Chase was first in line.  Ashley would have been if he wasn’t.
