Always saying I will do better!

At least I keep on trying.  I do great for a while and then go for almost a whole year without any blog entry at all.  It's not that my life is so busy.  I think it is just kind of boring sometimes.  I should however post pictures and highlights of events at least.  Not so sure I can even recall what has happened in the last year for our family. 
HIGHTLIGHTS FOR 2012: 
JANUARY 
Pictures of Ashley and Dani Parkhurst in front of the Gilbert Temple under construction. 

FEBRUARY
Nothing spectacular but we took a Saturday and went out to a place we call the bolders and had a picnic with Ashley, Kelli and Brandt.  

MARCH
*Crystal found out she was expecting.  What a miracle.  After  10 years of trying to get pregnant and using other means they naturally end up pregnant.  What a blessing. 
*David and I went to Rocky Point again for a couple of days to get away. When it is just the 2 of us there isn't a lot to take pictures of but I do love Sunsets and everywhere I go I try to get good sunset pictures. 

APRIL 
Easter Weekend.  Our annual Easter Picnic at Kristen and Carl's property.  One of the only times a year my whole family tries to get together.

We took a trip to California with the little girls (yes I still call them that) Even though Kelli is married.  We went over for Leola's wedding.  Unfortunately in the process we missed Collin's baptism.  So sad to miss it but we felt we needed to support Mike and Georgene.  

AUGUST
*  David and I had a fun San Diego trip. Just the two of us.  It was very fun.

*  Two of our cute grand kids Parker and Regan were baptized on the same day and we were able to attend both.

SEPTEMBER
*  We had a baby shower for Crystal.  Yes she found out she was Pregnant in March.  What a miracle. They have been so blessed. The shower was so fun to do.  Heather did a great job planning it. 
OCTOBER
*  David, myself, Ashley and Kameron and Andy Hopkins made a trip to Rocky Point for a few days.  It was fun. You can check this link for pictures.

*  Cooper (our little miracle) was born on the 18th

*  We did our annual pumpkin carving, which is always lots of fun.

NOVEMBER
*  We had a great Thanksgiving with almost everyone here.
*  We had our annual ornament exchange.  Love that tradition. 
DECEMBER
*  Christmas came and went uneventful.  It was pretty quiet.  Some of us did go to the Temple for temple lights.  We always enjoy that and then went to Brian's afterwards for donuts and hot chocolate. 
*  After several years of not having the Holiday Party that I have had for the last 12 years we finally did it again with just a few of our friends from Gilbert.  Miss those guys.  It was lots of fun. 
Well that brings us to the end of 2012.  I will catch up 2013 at another time.  Hopefully before 2014 rolls in.
