Yeah!!! David finally bought some protein. He needs to put on some weight. He needs to make sure he has more protein in his diet. I hope he will use it. I worry so much that here he has made it through cancer and something else is going to pop up. I want him to get strong.

02/25/2017 Colby’s Birthday Party
As usual Crystal outdid herself for Colby’s 3rd birthday. Monster truck theme. Colby is one of the cutest little 3 year olds. He is so full of energy and love for life. So unafraid to try new things. Love this kid.

02/20/2017 New man around the House!!!
So it is Monday President’s Day and I get a day off work. What do I spend the day doing? Cleaning out the closet. Look at all the clothes David can’t wear. It was kind of a day of mourning. I shouldn’t be cause he is still with me, but he definitely is not the same man. He physically doesn’t look like the man I married anymore and his personality has changed too. Maybe that is what the chemo does too. But I still love more than anything and I am so thankful he is still here.

02/18/2017 Boulders
Taking friends to see the boulders is one of our favorite little 4 hour road trip. for some reason we love taking people out there. It is just such a surprise that it is fun. We picked up Larry and Mary Lou and did the little road trip to the boulders and around to the mine in Superior.

Got to watch little Emma and Teagan tonight. Love these little monkeys. I love the opportunity to watch the grand kids and get to know them. Teagan always tells me I’m the best Nana. She is so sweet.

02/16/2017 This Happened Today
David’s last chemo treatment this week. He had the pump taken off today. He got to ring the bell. No more chemo. He has handled everything like a champ. He is amazing. These last 4 months of chemo he has worked the whole time. Through nausea and being so tired. Love this man

02/14/2017 Love this man!
Woke up to these beautiful flowers from my hubby. He is the love of my life and I am so grateful to have him here. This last year has been spent undergoing surgery and 12 rounds of chemo. He has displayed so much strength and courage. With unwavering faith he has trusted that our Heavenly Father has a plan. Today was his last chemo treatment. We will celebrate next week when he feels better

02/13/2014 Heart Attack!
What do you do for your hubby when you have been married for almost 29 years, with 10 kids and 31 grandkids. It doesn’t make any sense to me to go out to dinner with a million other people just because it is Valentines day. But I wanted to do something. Especially because tomorrow is his last round of chemo. Celebration day but he isn’t going to feel to great tomorrow night. I love this man more than anything. His is my Valentine for sure. So I did something so out of character for me. I heart attacked his truck, with glitter hearts nonetheless. He may be annoyed at 4:00 AM in the morning. I certainly hope not.

02/12/2017 Progress!
Well my picture for the day. The afghan for little Emma. Not quite done, about 4 more rows and a border around the edge. I lost momentum for about a week.. But I need to get it finished.

02/11/2014 Let the Good Times Roll.
What a fun night. Thank you to Kelli for planning our family Bunco night. Eight of the kids were able to make it. Talk about loud and crazy. I think Brian had fun even though I am not sure he wanted to play in the beginning. It was Steven’s birthday. Iwas so glad he could come and bring his cute girlfriend, I realize I didn’t take very many pictures. I guess I was too busy having fun.
